Guzaarish is the story of a great magician, Ethan Mascarenhas (Hrithik Roshan), who happens to meet an accident while performing one of his dangerous acts on stage. This accident leaves him to be a quadriplegic. Hrithik, as Ethan in the movie, portrays a man whose will power grows stronger and stronger, as his health keeps fading. He becomes a Radio Jockey and passes on the positivity to his listeners. When the news spreads that he has placed an appeal in the Court to exercise Euthanasia (Mercy Killing) everyone reacts in shock. How can someone bursting with enthusiasm about life think of killing himself? Would Ethan be able to win the case for himself? Does he end his life? All these questions are answered in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie Guzaarish.

“Intense subject, which has been dealt very delicately by the Director.”
– Shivani

“A thought-provoking subject indeed. We seldom make movies on such topics. Hats off to SLB for taking up unique topics and portraying them to the level best.”
– Komal

“Though everyone is talking about the positivity and how good the movie is, somehow I am not able to relate to it, and I still feel sad after watching the movie.”
– Kiran

“Award-winning concept and great acting. Music is soothing, compliments the movie.”
– Sidhharth

“Hrithik has shown that he can pull of any movie solely on his shoulders, even without his glamorous looks. Aishwarya was stunning. And the movie of course was great.”
– Pragya

Sanjay Leela Bhansali has done it again!!! There is some similarity between Black and Guzaarish - the positivity and the will power of the main characters. This was a typical SLB movie with great sets, amazing costumes, good script and soft, soothing music. Did we miss out noticing that the music has been given by SLB himself? Garima says, “This is a must watch for all those who search for meaningful cinema.”
