Yet another adaptation of Hollywood success. We Are Family has been directly taken from Chris Columbus’ Stepmom. The movie revolves around Aman (Arjun), Maya (Kajol) and Shreya (Kareena), showcasing the complexities of their lives and relationships. Aman meets Shreya after his divorce, and now wants her to get friendly with his kids (from Maya). Kids and Maya hate Shreya in the beginning, but, by the time the movie reaches climax, they all settle down peacefully to be called a ‘Family’. We Are Family unfolds the insecurities of all the characters in the plot, and how they overcome these with the help of circumstances.

- Sarita

“Too much of rona-dhona (crying) for me! Now I get to decide which movie to watch for the next 2 turns, rather than my girlfriend.”
- Karan

“I love both the leading ladies, Kajol & Kareena; and hence I loved the movie.”
- Mamta

Stepmom was much better.”
- Sandeep

“Kareena is looking very pretty in the movie, locations were nice… that’s it.”
- Bhumika

The audience for We Are Family was divided into two groups: one which had watched Stepmom earlier, and the other which hadn’t. The group that had not watched Stepmom liked the movie, and the other group strongly believes that Stepmom was far much better than this copy. Garima says – “if you really want to spend money on this one then buy a CD of Stepmom.”
