"A male dominating movie. Ajay's character came out to be positive in spite of being at the darker side. Songs were beautiful, specially 'tum jo aaye toh'."
- Rohini (a working wife)

"Movie had a classic look of 70s. Dialogues were awesome; they were more like ‘shayari’. It’s a complete package, enjoyable; ending could have been better though."
- Mayank (a gizmo guru)

"If you want to know about how underworld emerged then you should go for this one. Dialogues were good and so was Ajay Devgan."
- Balwant (working with a MNC)

"Good movie, good storyline, good acting, very good dialogues. Ajay is known for solid performances, Hashmi managed to pull it along too. There wasn't any need of a female actor, especially Prachi, whose role was added forcefully just to make 'pee lu' a hit."
- Shreya (a science student)

"Emraan Hashmi looked like a kid with a fake mustache who was forced to ‘play don-don’ with Ajay Devgan, who rocked with his acting and expressions in the movie."
- Ruchi (a student again)

"Kangna acted well, Prachi and Hashmi were unnoticeable. But for me, Ajay Devgan was the sole captain of the ship ‘coz of whom it managed to sail through."
- Anshul (a computer Engineer)

"A journey of an ordinary man from zero to hero. Dialogue delivery was really good and suited Ajay. Kangna was stunning in the movie. I would say it’s a must watch."
- Santino (an auditor)

Overall, a highly recommended movie. Once Upon A Time In Mumbai is well worth your time and money. The keynotes being powerful writing, awesome performances and music that sounds pleasing to the ears. An exceptional cinematic experience, full ‘paisa-wasool’! MUST watch it, if you haven't already done so!
